There are many ways to discover a town. One of them is through its food.
During the 21st Fira Gata al Carrer, from 9th to 11th October, gastronomy will once again be an important part of the streets of Gata.
Local butchers will showcase traditionally prepared products, bakeries will bring the flavours of traditional bread and pastries, while bars and restaurants will offer plenty of options to eat, share and enjoy.
But the food experience goes even further.
Visitors will be able to discover artisan products such as local honey, meet local producers and enjoy craft beer from Cerveseros Gateros.
And one of the fair’s much-loved traditions will return: the traditional buñuelos prepared by the Sant Antoni Committee.
Because behind many of the products we enjoy there are local shops, families and craftspeople who continue working every day to keep these traditions alive.
So come hungry this October.
Because Gata is also something you can taste.
